Cardinal Healing

This was an incredible encounter. Mother, father, baby cardinal, on the ground in my yard. My dog Honey, part Golden Retriever discovering them and barking excitedly. Parents fly into the bush and baby remains alone and frightened on the ground with Honey running around her. I am worried she is injured, I pick her up and Honey is put in the house.
I will calm her as her parents watch closely from the bush. I notice she has a long piece of something stuck to her eye and she is blinking and blinking. I gently remove it. Now I take a deep breath and gently begin to stroke her head with my finger. I do this until she falls asleep.
Mother and father are so close they can feel my love for their baby. I am in Heaven knowing that baby and I are meeting in this way for a very beautiful and purposeful reason. Everything feels just right.
After a little while we form a plan. All worked perfectly. Baby can fly!
Later that day I was sitting in the yard when mama flies over and rests on a branch right above me. She came to thank me and I thanked her too. This is the world I am in love with. This is how beautiful it all really is. The exchange between baby and me, mother and father watching, feeling, knowing. This is Blessed Communion and I am so thankful.
And today mother, father and baby were all here again.

The Message

As I lay awake early this morning I could hear some words being spoken as if far away.
I thought I must try to listen and as I did I heard these words perfectly.

Peace of God …..During this time.

And then I found what I wrote on this day years ago.

Blessed are those who resurrect their hearts
Blessed are those who begin again
Blessed are those who are filled with compassion
Blessed are those who truly forgive
Blessed are those whose faith is transcending
all of their worries and all of their fears
Blessed are those who strive to remember
the Divine Light shining within
Blessed are those who aid the less fortunate
Blessed are those who live in peace
Blessed are those who carry a burden
resurrecting themselves again and again
Blessed are those who carry the light
of Christ and Magdalene deep within
Blessed are we as we carry the torch
Blessed are we
Amen Amen
